I don't know why I can't get this to work. I want the color of the cell in column Q to change to red only if a date has not been entered in column AD - AND - the date in column E > than the date in column D. How do your write that formula? Once a date is entered is entered in AD, the red color should go away. Thanks!

I think got it working. I ended up doing it as two separate rules and it seems to be working. Thanks
