Good morning,

I have a continous subform"ISSUES" that captures the tempvars : ProcedureIssueID in the on click event of a command button. This button also opens a form "RESOLUTIONS" that contains child data of of the "ISSUES" form. The "RESOLUTIONS" form is standalone.

How do I go about creating a new record in the subform "RESOLUTIONS" using the tempvars from "ISSUES"; automatically creating the relationship?

Thank you for any help...

I figured out the solution:

CODE
Private Sub Form_Current()
Me.ProcedureIssueID.Value = TempVars!TempProcedureIssueID.Value
End Sub
