Hi Glen: And a very Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends from 3000 km to the SE of you!

Hope your weather is nice (we are watching a hurricane pass to the east of us, and listening to the rain here). Last time I was in Edmonton (quite a few years ago, consulting) it was -27C!

Good wishes for sunny weather and a pleasant day with friends and family.

Regards,
Joe

Hi Joe,
The weather here is below average (-5C) unlike where shadow is in the high +20 something.
Calgary which is south of us had about a foot or more of snow we had to send down 30 of our snow plows down there then we had rain snow mix which has made the streets slippery. My sister was complaining blowing leaves yesterday shoveling snow today.

Indeed. I was talking to a client in Edmonton today who was telling me about the ice and -3. We had 28 (that's about 82F) and I had a good bike ride. Either way, I know that this type of weather won't last much longer in Toronto...

Haha, Edmonton. As an Australian, it was some what of a shock to my system when I lived there and it got to -52 celsius with the windchill! Was 'only' -35 or so I think in real terms :-)

-55 with a windchill is a walk in the park there have been years when it has been -40 for 90 days mind you that was years back but local paper printed an award you could cut out and save. I think I still have it just can't remember where I put it. It is getting warmer here than it used to be global warming I suspect or possibly just more smog encasing the city.
