The below (at 24:33) basically states that central lists are stored at the root level. How do I see them in Access? I want to do proper Governance (diligence ... smarts.... etc) and use existing but don't know how to find them. Thanks for your help!!

lists come from tables/queries. I dont know what the #$@ root level is. Some business verbage to synergize the paradigm.

anyway all lists and combo box data comes from queries. (better than tables since they are customizable)

In SharePoint which I believe this discussion board is about there are site collections which are viewed as a top-level (root)

Site collection administrators manage site Collections and those below do not have any control over it

I am one of those lower owners

I would like to make use of a list created at the site collection level without the owners involvement (read-only basis)

I have access to Office 365, SharePoint designer and access

I hope that clarifies and thank you for your time
