Hi Guys

Many of my clients call me to say that they can't update a record on a form.
Almost always it is because someone in the company has left the record in edit mode.
They don't like Auto save on a timer.

So:
Is it possible to mark a record on a form if it is being edited by another user, therefore record is locked?
I was thinking of maybe a small box that was coloured green if Free or red if Locked.

It's the access to the record locking information and how to interpret it that I have no idea about.

Many thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

Yes it is possible and maybe there's already a demo in the Code Archive for it. If not, I am sure I have seen it discussed in the forums before, so searching for a previous topic might also help.
