Is there a straightforward way to get a nicely formatted Access report go to the body of an email rather than as a pdf attachment. I understand that pdf's cannot be put in the body of a email, so if I saved to rich text would that work or what?

Thanks

Leah

So email formats are typically formatted in html, plain text or rich text.
So theoretically it is possible to put a rich text report into a mail.

How does the report look when you save it as rich text?
Do you know much about email automation?

You are right, I should have tested rich text as the charts do not show up. I also tried saving as an HTML document which looked slightly nicer, but again the charts do not show up. I did not see an option to save as an image. I might still want the part without charts to show in the email.

I have worked a bit with email automation, but I always had fairly simple messages and then the report was an attachment.

I was hoping there was a way to save the report directly to an outlook message file, but if not I will take what I can get.
