How do I made a textbox visible or functional when a specific value is selected from another textbox on the same continuous subform?

The general format of such a function would be:

Me.txtYourControlNameGoesHere.Visible = Me.txtYourOtherControlNameGoesHere = "TheValueThatTogglesVisibility"

Thank you.

Maybe there's a better way to design this form(?)

I have a continuous subform on a main form for customer. This subform is to enter dietary restrictions.

I have tables:
tblMailingList (customer information)
tblDietRestrictions (with five allowed values, "diabetic", "gluten-free", "dairy-free", "vegetarian" and "allergy.")
tblMailingListDietRestrictions (join table - tblMailingList to tblDietRestrictions)
tblMailingListFoodAllergy (relating to tblMailingListDietRestrictions and holds the particular allergy).

So an entry is made into tblMailingListFoodAllergy only if the selected value in tblDietRestrictions = "allergy."

Hope this makes sense.
