Hi All
recently came across this little gem and thought others might be as interested in this as I was. The idea of a click event on a given cell is something that would have been very handy for several projects and this demo show just how easy it is to achieve.
Basically all you need to do is create a hyperlink on the relevant cell and instead of pointing the hyperlink to some external source, point it back at the cell itself (on the dialog). When the cell is clicked the Worksheet_FollowHyperlink event is fired, this event has a Target parameter which is an object representing the hyperlink and the Target.SubAddress property contains the sheet name and address of the cell that was clicked.
The demo is pretty much self explanatory but if you have any questions I'll be glad to help out.
All the best
Steve
