Hi, i googled for the above task..but till now, still failed to do it.
Odid removed current IE11 from add-remove program and then download IE9 either 32/64 bits for reinstallation..but end up failure..
ls kindly guide me on this
win7 6.1 build 7601 sp1 64bit

It all depends on which Windows 7 64-bit install set you have. MS released some with a minimum of IE( amd others have a minimum of IE10. When the default is removed from Windows, IE should automatically go down to the previous version.
These steps should work to reduce IE 11 to IE 10:
* Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and features
* Then click on Installed Updates and search for Internet Explorer 11
* Right-Click on IE11 and Uninstall It
Also implement the IE11 blocker (http://technet.microsoft.com/library/dn338147.aspx) afterwards so that it cannot be installed again via WU (a user can still it manually though if they have the relevant rights).
