Congratulations to UtterAccess VIP RJD (Joe) who has just passed the 5,000 post milestone. Since joining UA in October 2010, RJD has become a valued member of our community, regularly providing help to many members. An extract from his signature Rene Descartes quotation, "You just keep pushing. You just keep pushing. I made every mistake that could be made. But I just kept pushing." sums up Joe's work ethic in a nutshell.

Congratulations Joe and thanks for all your efforts here!

The quote reminds me of Thomas Edison, "I have not failed; I've just discovered 10,000 ways that don't work."

Congratulations on reaching the milestone. Keep pushing.

Hi Joe. Congratulations on achieving your first milestone. I can't understand where you find the time to create a demo for each answer you've given. Here's to your next milestone. Cheers! cheers.gif

Thanks, Joe.

Every time I see one of your fully functional demos for a method or technique I am impressed anew.

Hi guys: Thanks to all of you. But it is I who should be thanking you. I am honored to be a part of this magnificent place - and I learn here every day - EVERY day - from the questions as well as the solutions others offer and I participate in. I am pushed/pulled to be better here. And this spills over, of course, and greatly improves the databases I regularly create in my "other" life.

I guess this sounds too serious! But Glenn, Dan, Ricky, Alan, Glen, DBguy, George - it is an honor and privilege to be here and learn from you great guys.

Now, who's buying the next round? cheers.gif

Best to you all,
Joe

congrats joe
always nice to share a thread or two.

buying the next round?? in the very very very fine print of the UA bylaws you will find the following...

The individual at the bar with the fewest posts buys the next round. smile.gif (explains why DBG put so much distance between him and the next person)

Hey Joe.

(Sorry - but who can resist that?? At least I didn't ask where you were going with that pun in your hand. doh.gif It just gets worse...)

A hugely deserved point of recognition for you. You are a gentleman as much a scholar and UA is all the better for you being here.
Always a pleasure and long may it continue.
Congrats on the milestone.

"Say it's alright, Joe. I need some reassurance. Give us advice so we know you're alive..."

Paraphrasing my favorite 'Joe' song.

Anyway... thank you, Joe. You've been both inspiring and enlightening to me. Keep it up!

Sorry to be late to the party, Joe.

Congratulations on such an impressive milestone.

Not only have you shared your knowledge and experience on 5,000 occasions, but you do it with elegance and professionalism. You treat amateurs as colleagues, which is a rarity these days in any profession.

I admire anyone who sets such a high standard for themselves, and I am personally grateful to be one of the beneficiaries.

Thanks and Stay Well,

/Pat

Well done Joe.
The man who puts a demo together faster than most of us can read the question.
But I now know what RJD stands for

Rapid Joe Demo
