I have submitted a PM email to a member and I can not find it anywhere. Does it go on hold untill its checked and then sent and then I will be able to see it in my sent box?

Worn out - one needs to explicitly check the "Save a copy to my sent items folder" box in order to retain the sent message. If you send a message without checking the "Save a copy to my sent items folder" box, you will no longer have access to the pm you sent.

And just a note for clarity's sake, a PM is not email. Recipients need to have their PM turned on their personal settings and will only see the PM if they check their PMs. Not everyone has the notifications turned on for when a PM is received.

Also PMs should not be used to ask questions. Questions and followup should be done on the public forums. You can use a PM to ask a member to check a public thread.
