I'm looking for a very large public domain dataset that I can use for demostrating business analysis tools. I don't need some the tool just generic data. The industry to which the data relates is not important. I've tried googling but keep getting hits for tools.

I have a recollection of Tony Toews describing some analysis he did on the "leaked" credit card information that came to light from one of those dating sites a year or two ago. smile.gif

You might ping him (sorry: I couldn't find the thread in the AccessMVP group)

Hi Glenn,

http://gpcdata.com/AccessTestBed.aspx

That's 1m+ IIRC (Thank George for hosting it!)

If you need something SQL Server, give me a simple schema and I can load however many rows you want via RedGate's SQL Generator (I'd have to post it to my FTP for you to download but that's no biggie).

(did it really take me four minutes to write this??)

I have a bacpac of that same data that can be uploaded into SQL Server. Let me know if you want it.

I forgot that I'd already put a ZIP of the bacpac data up as another download. If you want to replicate the data loads in SQL Server, it is there.
