I have a C# windows application. It copies files from a location on to the users hard drive, among other things. When it copies the files the application can have a "(Not Responding)" message on the form. I have looked for the answer on the web but I am not getting anything that will work. It looks like I have to run it in a separate thread then the UI. I have tried to do that but what happens is the application quits right after it starts because it is not waiting for the copying to be done. I have tried using Application.DoEvents right after the copying in the code, but my waiting cursor goes away, I want that to stay so the user will now that the application is not done doing the copying. Any ideas?????

Thanks in advance as always.....
