Would any UA members have the above POS (point of sale) printer driver that they could share with me? There ARE several google answers to ths but these ALL lead to broken links, disabled sites and trickware.

Many thanks!

Thanks for your time and help, the three sites you mention are respectively - Broken link, site flagged by Google as deceptive, download prevented by Avirus as it contains virus.
Interesting that this driver is bait for numerous similar dead ends and other pointless attempts at tricks, downloads for pay for 'Driver services'

Thanks again!

How is the printer connected? According to IBM, you don´t need a specific driver if the printer is connected via RS232...

Hi Its serial port connected. I saw that at IBM (or somewhere) also - just connecting the printer does not make the printer available - that is to say that if attemptig to print from Word (for example) there is no printer shown. I did install an Epson printer and was able to send something to the IBM ptr on the serial port but what printed was garbage and produced a stream of 1" neatly sliced 'pages' sprinkled with hieroglyphs.

Is there some way to direct print to the serial port without a printer being in Windows I wonder??

Thanks!

You should be able to directly send a text file to the printer. Have a look at this description:
