Hello,
I have a text field with 16 numbers like 2134543222222222 now I would like to convert it tu number so I can do some calculation but when I try this :
Val([tablefield]) i get 2,13454322222222E+15 . What should I do to get numeric 2134543222222222 ?

Try to convert it to a double or integer:

CDbl([tablefield])

I see the same. You are showing a comma but the conversion is a decimal ... 2.13454322222222E+15 .The largest number a double is 16 bit so this is what you get.

I would question text representing a whole number in the quadrillions? What type of calculation can you be trying to make with a number this large?
Does anyone else here have any suggestions for edin?
