Thanks all for posting this example from 2015 it'help me too but how can I use this code to prevent duplicate for two txt fields and one date field combined together ??(AccountNo text filed, DocumentName text field and DocumentDate date field) by the way my Primary key is: DocID.

First. Welcome to UtterAccess.

Second. It is seldom a good idea to tag a new, different question onto an older discussion. Most people will never even see it. (Being on the admin team, part of my job is to review new posts, but otherwise I would not see it either.)

That said, what you need to do is create a unique index on these three fields in your table.
