Does the syntax differ when creating appointments in Access depending on whether (1) Outlook is running on the same computer as testing or whether (2) Outlook is running on Exchange over a network?

Thanks!

Outlook is a e-mail client. Whether it is a client to an internet mail service or an Exchange server should be immaterial.

Thanks Scott.
I'm trying to troubleshoot a function that adds an appointment to Outlook calendar from an Access database form. I'm on a single computer with Outlook installed but the front end of the database ultimately sits on a another network using Microsoft Exchange.

Thanks much!
