Actually 2016 not 2013

Is there a way to edit the recently used list of business cards? I found an error in one of the business cards listed on my attach item button. I corrected the related contact but the business card did not reflect the change. When I reselected the same contact to attach as a business card a second entry for that contact was added to the recent list, one with the error still in place and one reflecting the correct data. I found a page (for 2013) that suggested deleting the contact and then editing a registry key. Is that the only way to do it?

Any suggestions?

Hi Glenn,

I'm not sure about editing that list but you can empty it and start over. Outlook Options -> Mail -> Send Messages -> Empty Auto-Complete List.

Cheers,

Jeff

Thanks for the suggestion Jeff. Unfortunately, it didn't alter the business card list. After clicking the button, I restarted Outlook the list in Attach Item>Business cards> is still the same.

On reflection, I'm pretty sure the send mail -autocomplete list refers to email address suggestions that pop up when you start to enter an address in To/CC/BCC. (That's what the checkbox caption beside it says.)

Hi Glenn,

Sorry. I misunderstood what you were asking for. Having looked at the actual issue, I'm only seeing the same options you are. Either a registry edit or a third party utility seem to be the only options.

Jeff
