friends;
i'm using c# with access i face this problem when connecting to access database
ace.oledb.12.0 provider is not registered on the local machine
i'm search using google i find answer to my problem to download one of this file
AccessDatabaseEngine.exe
AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe

and work
but i don't know why it work?

is windows 32 bit using
AccessDatabaseEngine.exe

and windows 64 using
AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe

==========
or depend on office version 32
AccessDatabaseEngine.exe

office version 64
AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe

how can i choose between 2 file depend on windows and office or what

can you skip the AccessDatabaseEngine XXX.exe
and just use ADO or DAO , or odbc to access the data?
