I have an Access with Visual Basic program that creates a database for each case. When a user clicked a button to run a function in the database, an error popped up: “File not found: c:\Users\(user id)\AppData\Local\Temp\VB96F2/tmp”

Does anyone know what kind of file this is? I did not have this problem until the last month or so.

Thanks,

Bill

Looks like some type of temp file, but the path is incorrect (all the slashes are \ except the last one). Without seeing the code involved it is impossible for us to truly say. You can code/name files anything you like.
Did you go check the specified directory? See what files exist there? Any match that name?
Did you contact the Access database creator/administrator?
