Hello does anyone know of a template in Access or Excel for production and inventory that I can start with and modify as needed?

Thanks very much for any help or suggestions.

Johnny,

Please keep in mind that inventory control is one of the most complex things you can try to handle with Access - it's very much an expert-level thing to create. It would likely be more cost effective to seek out ready-to-use software rather than trying to roll your own.

Having said that, you might want to read this article on Allen Browne's website that discusses how to handle stock takes and tracking inventory.

Hope this helps,

Dennis

You can also get some ideas, I believe, from the classic Northwind database which has an inventory component, among others. My version has some modifications such as a revised naming convention.

Would it be too much trouble to show what you mean with the modifications please?

Thank you so much for helping me
