Greetings & Thank you this Search For Text utility in the Code Archive.
1. Does this utility have a global field replace function?
Or is it find & manually edit/replace found references?
2. Searching for "First Name" without quotes & replace with FirstName without space.
3. Do I use an ASCII reference for the space character?

Hi,

Welcome to UtterAccess!

1. Doing a quick look at the demo, it looks like it only has a replace function for queries, forms, and reports - none for tables or fields.

2. -

3. Typing the space seems to find it without a problem, so I would say you won't need to use an ASCII reference.

Just my 2 cents...

Welcome to UtterAccess.

Samples and demos are provided by members, not by UtterAccess itself. Whatever features the original developer chose to include are the ones available.

So, if you need that type of search and replace function , and if it's not available in this demo, you'll need to either use this as a starting point for your own enhancement to suit your needs, or search out a different tool.

If you do decide to enhance it, perhaps you'd consider sharing that new version back as your own contribution.

Thanks and good luck with your project.
