I just ordered a copy, plus "Office VBA Macros you can use" - hope they're worth their weight in gold...

Cool. So do I!!
This thread has been here forever. I assumed it was "closed" to others posts, but it's very cool to see people are still interested!
(Thank you, Gordon. I've gotten less busy and have been able to stop by again...)

I highly recommend the Word book - I learned so much already - I loved the concept of the other one, but I haven't been able yet to USE any of the Office Macros you can use today - maybe you should've cast your net differently - I was drooling when I saw the sections on ppt and outlook, but none of them interested me - but I know you just co-authored that book. Ironically, I spent a fraction on your Word book than the other one - Well, I guess if you look at the TOTAL cost of both books, I guess I got my moneys worth. I was impressed you actually taught me some great shortcuts in the word book I have been using prolifically ever since - has made my life a lot easier - I pride myself on being a maestro on the keyboard, and I love a good keyboard s/c - I hate that little rat, I mean mouse... cool.gif

LOL. Tell you what, Baker. You let me know of a macro you COULD use, and we'll get you one. Those are supposed to be the macros that are most commonly asked for in newsgroups and forums. Some of them, I specifically asked for.

I noticed that the book covers up to 2003. I have just recently switched to 2007 and was wondering if there were alot of similarities making the book still applicable for 2007?

Does this reference work on word 2007?
