Would anyone have any ideas on how to unlock a locked databse as there are several people that are locked into a shared DB and I need them removed asap.
Thanks

Are you referring to access security?
On the menu Go to Tools>Security

hi
You may need to create a new database and import everything into it from your old one if you get really stuck.

I made a copy and deleted the old one but its not really a good thing to do. Thanks for the suggestion, was hoping there maybe another way around it.

If people have "crashed" out, there is probably still an ldb. Delete the ldb file.

Have you rebooted the machine where the MDB is located?

It wont let me delete the mdb due to sharing violations, could it be beacuse people arent actually opening the db there opening a connection to it?

Are you able to delete it from command prompt? /DOS?
