Greetings, all! I've searched through the UA forums and haven't seen anything like this. In my report footer I have two fields (I'll call them "A" and "B") that calculate a value from three other totals fields (call them 1, 2 and 3) in the footer. If I open the report directly either from the database window, or programmatically (either in VBA code or with a macro), the A and B fields do not display their results. However, if I first open the report in design view, then open the report into preview mode (using direct or programmatic means), A and B properly calculate. ??!

In all cases, the 1, 2 and 3 fields do correctly display and calculate. So I'm at a loss.

Ah, never mind folks. I was making it far more difficult that it needed to be. I ended up just doing the calculations in a different place and now all appears to work as it should. Still it was strange that it was acting the way it was. <phew!>
