Full Version: How to identify dates from text boxes?
UtterAccess Forums > Microsoft® Access > Access Date + Time
Hi guys!
I have a table that stores an abbreviated date in the form of a text field for reference. Data in this field would be for example "January 1" . Is there any way I can use to be able to check whether this date is equal to the current date? I had an idea like maybe:
If [TextAbbrevDate] LIKE Month(Now()) Then .....

Am i too naive to think this would work? Thanks for any assistance given!

If Me.TextAbbrevDate = Format(Date, "mmmm d") Then
