Hello, I have created some VB code that queries some linked tables in Access. It then will take that data and format it to create graphs and charts. The problem is, I did a test today on my process, which I was hoping to automate, and the linked table does not show the latest data unless I open the table. What would be the best way to insure that these tables always contain the latest data?
thank you

Thanx - I just used your autoupdate funktion with great success
I have a question: regarding imports from linked excell sheets.
once a week an SAP server spits out a 105 X 48 000 cells worksheet in excell. not all the cell are filled with data - I link a table to this output but access decides what format the colum will take by evaluating the first couple of rows - Proplem: if I get som numeric info 1000 rows down, it wants it to be text and returns Numm!! err - I have gotten around this by pasting zeros in the first row of the xl worksheet, but want access to keep the field properties i Specify in the linked field -
any ideas?
