Hello all,
Why is it that I cannot "ctrl + F" fields in my subforms? The linked parent field is student_num to the student_num child field in the subform and only pulls the one maching record. To clarify, I have the main form that holds the student's ID and name and in a tab page, I have a subform that displays the room the student is staying in. I would like to search by room number.
Is there a way I can do this?

Have you set focus to the subform BEFORE trying to search it?

Yes I have...I thought it would be that simple, but for some reason it isn't!

If you use the mouse to move the cursor to any control in the subform and press "ctrl F". that will launch the search dialog, based on the subform.
