Hi,

I've never seen this effect before. I have created a report from a query that contains a mixture of text and number fields. One of the fields is date, another is postcode (UK). The postcode is a text field. When I run the query the data shows correctly, but when I add them to the report the numbers are missing. For example 17/08/2006 appears as

/ /

and a postcode of AB12 3CD appears as

AB CD

The report prints out like that too. Thanks in anticipation.

Post a copy of your database, sounds very strange.

The same thing happens with another database that was previously fine. However, opening the same databases on different machines doesn't show the problem. I'm thinking it's a corrupt installation. Detect and repair hasn't solved the problem, so I'll get IT to reinstall.
