Full Version: Merge to Fax Like WinFax Pro

Hi!
I had used WinFax Pro's Word macro back in the Windows 98 and 2000 days. I built a table with key fields, exported it into an mdb, trained a Word template on the fields, merged them and used a WinFax button on the Word toolbar to blast the pages to the various fax #s that were embedded. Same page, different contact name and fax # on each.

I find now 2002 has fits with WinFax Pro and I'm looking for another program or Outlook options.

Anyone using Outlook XP or another program to blast the same page to multiple recipients with a listing that's not in it's contact address book?

Thanks for any thoughts.

What is version 2002?

You post header says you are using Access 2000.

What version of WinFax?

I found you post unclear about exactly what you are wanting to do. I am confused. shrug.gif

Are you wanting to use Access with WinFax (you posted in an Access forum) or are you wanting to use Word with WinFax?

Sorry,

My program is Access 2000 and it is running on a Windows XP/2002 machine. The Word program is also XP and it evidently doesn't work well with Winfax Pro anymore. Prior version of Word/Office had a nice template merge and a Winfax Pro macro that put a button right on the Word toolbar to send based on the embedded fax number in the document. Better questions would be is there a fax blast program that works on Win XP / Office XP machines I guess, that can feed off an XL spreadsheet or Access table in an mdb.

Thanks!
Jo
