Feel pretty silly that i am unable to grasp this but I know Zero............... about Excel and more than likely have a very simple question. How to compute a Start time and an end time to minutes in Excel.

A1=Date
B1=Start Time
C1=End Time
D1=total Time

06/30/07 0500 0730 150

Thank You

Try this and format as number.

=(C1-B1)*24*60

Thank You Norie

Is there any particular formatting for C1 and B1 ? Would like to just enter something like 1300, 1400 resulting in 13:00, 14:00

John

The only way I know to allow just entering 1300 and ending up with a time is to use VBA.
