Full Version: Combo box to start with a blank

When I open the form that contains my combo box I need the combo box to start with a blank. My code in the after update is
CODE
Private Sub Combo40_AfterUpdate()
    ' Find the record that matches the control.
        Me.RecordsetClone.FindFirst "[IDname] = " & Me![Combo40]
        Me.Bookmark = Me.RecordsetClone.Bookmark
    Me.Refresh
End Sub

Yes this is the same code that I just posted to a previous combo box question about 45 minutes ago. Still new and still learning.
What code will make the combo box appear with a blank when the form is open but still have all the needed records when the user selects the arrow of the combo box? Also where would I put it? Within the current code?
Thanks

A line of code in the appropriate event, I would say the Form Load or Form Open events, possibly others if desired,
e.Combo40 = Null
