I have a form used for data entry and is in datasheet view. When entering numbers in the fields access will automatically fill in the next cell if it sees a pattern. Such as if I type 3 then 5 then it will automatically fill in the next cell with 7. Is there a way to turn this off?

Unfortunately, no. (Microsoft finally fixed it in Access 2007)
Just you use Datasheet view? Can you use a Continuous form instead?

It is easier for people to enter data in something that reminds them of the spreadsheet they once used. I will discuss with the users changing to a Continuous form.
Thanks for your help!

A continuous form can be made to look identical to a data sheet view.
ou'll lose the ability to move and resize columns, but other than that, they shouldn't even notice.
