I am getting the error when I am moving from record to record and entering data into a subform
"The Microsoft Jet database enginne stopped the process because you and another user are attempting t0o change the same data at the same time"

Is your DB split so you have a front end and back end?

yes - we think that we have resolved it - it was happening on a subform on a subform within a subform. I put a save once you enter the third subform and that seems to have corrected it
