Hello!
My subform displays records chosen from the main form but it won't allow the user to edit those records. I have the child and parent fields linked and the allowedits property is enabled. What else can I do so that the data can be edited?
Thanks for your help!
Jack Cowley
If the subform is based on a query then you may not be able to update the records as not all queries are updateable... If you have a simple One-to-Many relationship between the main form and subform you should be good to go...

It's based on a Select Query. Which queries are updateable?
Jack Cowley
Generally queries based on 3 or more tables are not updateable... Search Access Help for Troubleshooting Queries for more help...
I am leaving the UA building and will not return until about 2pm Pacific time so I hope this helps...
