Full Version: Charts on a Form
UtterAccess Forums > Microsoft® Access > Access Forms
I'm having difficulty getting a chart to show up correctly on a form. I have a form that is mostly for data viewing, and not adding/editing records.

I have a table for hard drives. Each record shows the amount of free space, used space, and total size of each drive.

I want to create a chart that is similar to the pie chart in Windows when you check the properties for a hard disk. It needs to show free space compared to used space, or against total size, for each drive. Everything I do creates a pie chart that puts each record from the table into its own slice in the pie (which means hundreds of slices!).

Welcome to UA!
epending on how your data is organized, you could try a query which would total the records and then use the query as the source of your chart.
