Full Version: Flashing Subform?
UtterAccess Forums > Microsoft® Access > Access Forms
I have a subform that I'm having obtain information from a query and display the results in a listbox.
My question is this:
Is there a condition which I can have on that subform where if the LISTBOX has data in it (retrieved through the query), it will make the entire subform FLASH for like 2 or 3 seconds so that it draws the attention of the user to it?

Private Sub Form_Timer()
Static FlashCount As Integer
If FlashCount < 3 Then
Me!SubformName.Visible = Not Me!SubFormName.Visible
FlashCount = Flashcount + 1
FlashCount = 0
Me.TimerInterval = 0
End If
End Sub
Private Sub Form_Current()
If Me!lstListbox.ListCount > 0 Then Me.TimerInterval = 500
End Sub
Oops...My bad. Thanks for the reply, but I typed it wrong. I was trying to have like a label or an image flash, not the subform. Sorry.

Same thing! Just change:
e!SubformName.Visible = Not Me!SubFormName.Visible
Me!SubformName.Form!lblLabelName.Visible = Not Me!SubFormName.Form!lblLabelName.Visible
