I know you can create reports with 'running sums'; is there a way to do the same thing with charts?
My boss wants to track accumulated weekly data against an accumulative goal, something we currently do with Excel.
We have a budget of $3,000 a week for this data and I have figured out how to make the goal line on the chart display as $3,000, $6,000, $9,000, etc as each week progresses. What I can't figure out is how to make the actual ACCUMULATED Cost data appear; I can only get the totals for each week.
Is this possible within Access or will I have to export the data into Excel to build the chart?

Your chart will be driven by a query, so you may get some help from this Microsoft Knowledge Base article on creating a running sum in a query.
