Hi
I have a query that returns a score for several hundred dealers. This score is to help assess their viability.
What I need to be able to do is allocate a ranking number to each dealer:
So the dealer with the highest score is ranked 1, second highest ranked 2 etc
There is the distinct possibility that many dealers will score the same so if thre were three dealers with equal highest score then they would all get ranked 1, the 4th next score would therefore need to be ranked 4.
I hope this makes sense
My query has the following fields:
Dealer Name
Period
Total Score
Many thanks in anticipation of kind assistance here
Cheers

Hi,
I'm not sure what that demo does, but you might also want to take a look at this MS article.
Hope that helps...
