Full Version: pass info to subform
UtterAccess Forums > Microsoft® Access > Access Forms
I have a main form with 2 subforms. The main form records data about classes being taught...location, date, courseID, etc. SUbform enterstudents is used to collect the home city, state of the students. It is liniked by COurseID to main form. Another subform is in datasheet view which dispalys all the student records in the course.

Since most of the students in each class live in the city where the course was taught, I want to make the comboxox for studentcity autopopulate with the data in the course city box. I will make the user click a save button which will clear the data if additional out of town students are present.

Is there a way to make the after update event of the course city autopopulate the student city on the subform? I'm including my db with my attempts so far!
Any help would be appreciated!

I can't seem to get it to allow the zip file. I think my vpn may be stripping it.
