Hi,
I have a form with a list box.
On the list box I have some code behind the double click event .
When my form opens depending on the user security level (I have a case select when the form opens) I would like the double click to be disabled , is this possible without disabling the list box ?
please let me know how.
thanks

Why not just test the security level in the DoubleClick event as you seem to be in the Open event?

You should be able to do this:
e.NameOfListBox.OnDoubleClick = "" to wipe out the entry telling Access what to do when the list box is double-clicked.
You would do this to re-enable the event:
Me.NameOfListBox.OnDoubleClick = "[Event Procedure]"
