I would like to use VB Script to send an instant message. I will NOT be spamming with this.

In our database: we have text boxes where the description of a problem is entered and we have a drop down menu where you select a technician.

Currently, it is necessary to open a new instant message to the correct technician with AIM and send a message.

It is ABSOLOUTLEY NECESSARY that we use an instant messenger. As for technical reasons there is a large disclaimer at the bottom of the company email that is put on by MS Exchange Server that cannot be removed.

Can someone please inform me what VB Code would be used to accomplish such a task.

VB Script? Does this mean an ASP page not a VB DLL or EXE?

what I need is this...

I have a Database
It has a technicians name and a problem description
When you select the techs name and click send I need it to send an instant message of the problem description to the technician
this message goes to his phone and CANNOT be emailed.

Why not? You can use the API with VBA, which is what I think you want.

What IM service does the phone use?

Are you wanting the phone to be able to end messages back? If not, maybe sending an SMS text messages is what you need.
