Hi all,
I have got a subform which is based on a query. On that form there is a note field. I can normally type info in, in the note filed when the record source query is like below:
SELECT TOP 100 PERCENT dbo.Bookings.BookingID, dbo.Bookings.Note, dbo.Bookings.Type, dbo.Contacts.ContactID etc etc
-----
but as soon as I put a key word DISTINCT in the query, I can no longer type the info in in the Note field anymore
SELECT DISTINCT TOP 100 PERCENT dbo.Bookings.BookingID, dbo.Bookings.Note, dbo.Bookings.Type, dbo.Contacts.ContactID etc etc
----
How could I change the query&form so that it will only display unique set of records at the same time allow me to type information in?
Regards,
fkegley
The DISTINCT keyword forces the recordset to become non-updatable.
