Hi All

I am Barath from Access Test Team. I have seen some really cool feedback from you all on other posts and I would like to get your opinion on a recent app I created.

I have attached an accdb and some screen shots of the app along with this post.

Note: You will need Access 2010 Beta to run this application.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks
Barath

Hey Barath,

I have downloaded the app and will take a look at it later today.

Smart stuff, Barath.

I notice that it uses CurrentWebUser to determine which are "my" classified apps. Will there be any information on this coming out any time soon. I note that CurrentWebUser can be used in VBA and has an argument of enum acWebUserDisplay (acWebUserEMail, acWebUserID, acWebUserLoginName or acWebUserName) and that there are functions CurrentWebUserGroups (enum acWebUserGroupsDisplay, i.e. acWebUserGroupID and acWebUserGroupName) and IsCurrentWebUserInGroup (which seems to take a variant as its argument).

The reason I ask is because, though the Access team have, not surprisingly, majored on the creation of web pages using Access 2010 (and which is truly excellent), I can see Access 2010 being used big time with a .accdb front end file with the data in Sharepoint 2010. To do this, it would be a big help to understand the functions I mentioned (at least I think so).

I have downloaded the demo but it doesn't work. I am using Access 2010 and I don't see an macros in the database.
