I've got some old 3.5 floppies that have a db split across them.

How can I put this back together?

TIA, Phil

Hi

You'll probably need a copy of the original programme that split the file - eg HGSplit, WinZip, WinRar etc

Normally you then launch either the first or the last of the split files which will contain the info needed to re-assemble the whole file

Hi Phil,

if they are on floppies (good luck reading them), and if they are named filename.001, filename.002, etc then my first try would be

HJ File Split -- utility to split/combine big files
http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/index.html#win32

It is a very simple program. When you launch it, choose Join, then navigate to filename.001
