Hi My 'Utter Friends,

This is not a question post, but an info post. thumbup.gif

A client needed to have Access database files (as well as other attachments) emailed in and have the data in them be used by their main office Access database.
Problem was someone with high enough permissions had to manually open the emails, download the attached database files and drop in a folder in the server.

Welp, I found a free program which will automatically check the email at specific times, and download the attachments into a folder (and can even create sub-folders based on senders email address).

The program is 'Mail Attachment Downloader V2.1 By GearMage'.

The link is: http:// gearmage DOT com/maildownloader DOT html

It works great! yayhandclap.gif

Hi My 'Utter Friends,

Just an update on using the 'Download Email Attachment' pgm.

You can have multiple instances/copies of the program running @ same time to 'look' @ different email addresses @ specific times, etc.
Its working great for a clients system where we have set up four (4) new Email addresses that internal users use to email in specific files, ex: Doc/PDF files, Pic files, Database files, Project files.
All get downloaded into their proper folder(s) by the specific downloader program to be used later by the Access database.

How do I run multiple instances with different settings?
