I have an experienced Access user who when linking her tables, used a mapped P:\ drive which is different from my mapped P:\ drive. It’s an issue every time she asks me to open her db and troubleshoot with her.

I either need to re-map my P:\ drive to match hers, or go into the “Linked Table Manager” and link them correctly by using the full URL name: \\server\folder\folder, etc.

Is there a way, other than re-mapping each linked table individually, to change:

P:\folder\folder\folder\database.accdb

to

\\server\folder\folder\folder\database.accdb

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Steve

How many tables are we talking about?

Given how much time it takes to trouble-shoot it now, would it be worth the effort to convert all those one time?

How many tables are we talking about?

There's a pretty large number, but more importantly this is an ongoing thing with new tables being added. It's not like there's 5 tables, there will always be those same 5 tables, and it's just a matter of going into linked table manager one time and dealing with those 5 tables one time
