Hi,

I have a query called "Purchase analysis". My intention is to create a report that shows the quarterly purchase. In "purchase analysis" query I have field called purchase (that shows the cost of each purchases), date of purchase, and a field that extract the quarter from that date of purchase. I want to create a report that sums the purchase of each quarter and shows just four fields that are the sum of purchase of each quarter.

any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi You could try:-
Select View Totals for the query in design vew and set 'GroupBy' for the field that extracts the quarter and 'Sum' for the field you want to total
