Help!
I am connecting with Access 2007 to some Great Plains tables and Views with an ODBC connection. I am using it on one of my client's sites via remote desktop. First, I must uncheck Trusted Connection and put in a special username and password they have given me for my links.
Usually the first time I go in and create my links, they won't work. I get ODBC--called failed. Then sometimes it will show 66 records with #Name in all the fields. If I make the links again, they will work, for a while. Then, I will start getting the error again and sometimes, if I reacreate a link, all the links will start working again.
If I exit Access the links stop working and I have to create one to get the rest to work.
What is going on??? Any Clues??
