(TITLE SHOULD SAY NOT SHOWING ALL VALUES ...OOPS!)

I have a table with a field that uses a combobox to display a list of possible valid values from another table.

When I try to enter a record in this field (in table datasheet view), I only see about less than half of the records that should be in the dropdown list.

Any idea what causes this? I don't think there's some limit to the number of records Access will show, I've always had this work fine, even with thousands of records in the list....

Issue 1:
How many values should it display? There is a limit (I think about 1,000 - but I would have to verify)

Issue 2:
Why are you using a lookup filed in a table view? You may want to reconsider that approach and use a form object and drop list control.

It's complicated; suffice to say that certain people here have to be allowed to directly edit a couple of tables and I can't change that.

But I've done this in the past with no problem, just can't figure out what might be stopping the system from showing the whole list...it just occurred to me, maybe I have to go to the tab on the MS Access Options box that says Don't display lists where more than this number of records read [ ] which is defaulted to 1000 and bump up that number...
